Week of September 15th

I apologize for getting this out so late. I have been battling a sickness, and the sickness is winning.

Academic Chemistry

Last week, we re-tested on Chapter 1 and it went a lot better. We also discussed the flow of the class thus far, and are going to make a few small changes, such as longer pre-lab discussions, more activities, and fewer test questions. We also began Chapter 2: Atoms, Molecules and Ions. We discussed Dalton's Atomic Theory, Isotopes, the Periodic Table, and began naming molecular compounds.

Chemistry II

Last week, we worked on redox reactions and titration. We finished Chapter 4 with a titration lab, and will test next week.
